The Map
The metaphor of a "Global Village" is one of McLuhans most famous media theories,
hence we decided to focus on it.

It states that media connects us all. We know everything about each other because our privacy became public through means of internet and technology. It's like we're living in one big village.
The Chapters
The book's chapters are illustrated as buildings placed along the village's map.
The user can explore these buildings freely and discover the story chapter by chapter.
If he selects one it rises out of the map revealing it's content.

A brief summary of the contents is displayed and if the user wants to find out more he can do so with a simple click.
That's how we add multiple dimensions of depth to our project that appeal to different age groups.
Everything is rounded off with smooth animations guiding the user through his journey.
